Welcome to English Estate Winery, a historic oasis in East Vancouver.

Located just 15 minutes from the Portland airport, we are Vancouver's oldest vineyard and winery. Settled in 1903, our family has been working this land for five generations.

The Loafing Shed Tasting Room is open year-round. It’s a wonderful place to meet family and friends - outside when the weather is nice or by the fire when it’s chilly. Feel free to bring a snack or picnic.

99%
is grown right here

At English Estate, we are interested in what we can grow and create right here on our own farm. Ninety-nine percent of the fruit used in our wines comes from the twenty acres that surround our 1915 barn.

English Estate sits just three miles North of the Columbia River on 100 feet of Lauren Gravelly Loam soil. It’s very rocky and extremely well-drained, the ideal soil-type for growing wine-grapes.
